Guadeloupe
Un café? Un rhum? et… where are we again?
Bienvenue to the French Caribbean — where the sailing is incredible, the anchorages are unreal, and almost no one in our fleet knows how to ask where the bathroom is in French.
The Guadeloupe Regatta is where adventure meets beautiful confusion. We’ll chase Bubbles through postcard-worthy stops like Îlet du Gosier, Saint-Louis, and the unforgettable Îles des Saintes — a stretch of water that feels wild, vibrant, and just unpredictable enough to keep things interesting.
Expect crystal-clear anchorages, spirited racing, raft-ups that turn into late nights, and dockside conversations made entirely of hand gestures and the occasional “bonjour” thrown in for confidence. This is the kind of place Captain Alex loved, where getting lost is part of the fun and every wrong turn seems to lead to something unforgettable.
There will be racing, yes. There will also be exploration, laughter, and the kind of stories that only happen when sailors from around the world tie up together and lean into the unknown. If you came for polished perfection, you’re in the wrong place. If you came for adventure, connection, and memories that last longer than your French vocabulary — you’re exactly where you belong.

What You Need to Know
Coming by sea
The adventure starts on January 13th in Pointe-a-Pitre in south central Guadeloupe.
Make sure to register your vessel before arrival so that we can make sure we've got a shirt with your name on it!
If you're willing to volunteer your time and vessel for our youth day camp and help us make an impact on local kids, let us know when signing up. The youth day camp will be on Saturday January 11th, so come early, be a legend!

Coming by air
You made it to Guadeloupe — that means you’ve either booked a charter boat or a private vessel:
-
Charter guests: We’ll send you all the details for the marina where your boat is waiting.
-
Private vessel guests: You’ll meet your crew in Pointe-a-Pitre, close to the airport. (Specifics will be shared as the event nears)
-
Booking a private vessel does not give you the option to choose the kind of boat you'll be on. Instead, it ensures there's a berth with your name on it!
-
Make sure to land in Guadeloupe by January 12th so you don’t miss the raft-up!
Once you’ve signed up, your spot is locked in — go ahead and book your flights into Pointe-a-Pitre.
Provisioning will be coordinated with your cabin mates. After that, the galley’s your kingdom — whether you’re living off ramen and PB&Js or caviar and stone crab, the choice (and the price tag) is 100% yours.
*This race ends where it began, in Pointe-a-Pitre.
YOUTH DAY | January 11th
The Chasing Bubbles Youth Days are the heart of it all — the reason these regattas even exist. Held a day or two before each event, these days are all about getting local kids out on the water and showing them what’s possible beyond the shore. Because when you show a kid the horizon, you’re not just teaching them to sail — you’re showing them how big the world can be. Our mission is simple: to make a real impact, one child and one adventure at a time, empowering them to chase their own bubbles in life.
Want to get involved? We'd love to have you join the mission, Alex's mission, to make ripples of change in the lives of kids everywhere.
