Antigua & Barbuda

Antigua is sailing through and through — an island shaped by trade winds, tall ships, and generations of sailors chasing the horizon. This regatta taps straight into that legacy, blending iconic harbors, unforgettable sailing, and the kind of moments that only happen when the right people tie up together.

We kick things off with a YCA Floatchella at Green Island, where the fleet comes together before the sails go up and the adventure begins. From there, the first race finishes in English Harbour, followed by a hike to the legendary Shirley Heights Lookout for sundowners and awards overlooking the very waters you just sailed.

The next leg carries the fleet into Falmouth Harbour, where wide anchorages, dockside celebrations, and long Caribbean nights take over. The regatta wraps up in Jolly Harbour, an easygoing final stop to celebrate the miles, the friendships, and the reason we do this in the first place.

Antigua has always been a crossroads for sailors, from naval fleets to modern cruisers. This regatta honors that history while adding something more — adventure with a purpose. As with every Chasing Bubbles Regatta, the fun fuels our mission, helping empower local kids to experience the water and discover what’s possible when they’re shown the horizon.

Come sail iconic waters.
Come celebrate hard-earned miles.
Come be part of a story that keeps moving.

What You Need to Know

Coming by sea

The adventure starts on February 3rd at Green Island on the South East side of Antigua by February 3rd.  Get there by noon! That's where the raft-up will commence and this will be the starting point for our regatta.

Make sure to register your vessel before arrival so that we can make sure we've got a shirt with your name on it!

If you're willing to volunteer your time and vessel for our youth day camp and help us make an impact on local kids, let us know when signing up. The youth day camp will be on February 2nd from 2-6 in Falmouth Harbour, so come early, be a legend!

Coming by air

You made it to Antigua and Barbuda — that means you’ve either booked a charter boat or a private vessel:

  • Charter guests: We’ll send you all the details for the marina where your boat is waiting.

  • Private vessel guests: You’ll meet your crew in Falmouth Harbour. (Specifics will be shared as the event nears)

    • Booking a private vessel does not give you the option to choose the kind of boat you'll be on. Instead, it ensures there's a berth with your name on it!

Make sure to land in Antigua by February 1st or 2nd so you don’t miss our Youth Day or the raft-up!

Once you’ve signed up, your spot is locked in — go ahead and book your flights into V.C. Bird International Airport (ANU).

Provisioning will be coordinated with your cabin mates. After that, the galley’s your kingdom — whether you’re living off ramen and PB&Js or caviar and stone crab, the choice (and the price tag) is 100% yours.

*This race ends in Jolly Harbour. Taxi rides to the airport can be sorted from there.

YOUTH DAY | February 2nd

The Chasing Bubbles Youth Days are the heart of it all — the reason these regattas even exist. Held a day or two before each event, these days are all about getting local kids out on the water and showing them what’s possible beyond the shore. Because when you show a kid the horizon, you’re not just teaching them to sail — you’re showing them how big the world can be. Our mission is simple: to make a real impact, one child and one adventure at a time, empowering them to chase their own bubbles in life.

Want to get involved? We'd love to have you join the mission, Alex's mission, to make ripples of change in the lives of kids everywhere.

Live bold, chase the horizon, and say yes — just like Alex.

Beyond sponsorship — this is family.
